I researched, wrote and edited the first two issues of Vodafone’s Digital Parenting magazine, which were distributed to millions of families across the UK. The magazine was welcomed by the UK Government and other key stakeholders and also formed the blueprint for a publication by Vodafone Hutchison Australia.
As the editor of the Digital Parenting website, my copy helps parents and carers to get more involved in their child’s digital world. I have created blogs, infographics, banners, checklists, case studies, ‘how to’ guides and many other online materials.
Working with the Tesco product team, digital studio ustwo and parenting advisors at Parent Zone, I wrote the copy for three apps on Tesco’s family-friendly hudl2 tablet.
This included microcopy (e.g. instructions, tooltips and CTAs) and longer content (e.g. ‘how to’ advice and app store descriptions).
The Child Safety app was particularly well-received for giving parents clear and informative content.
Unicef commissioned me to write a series of articles for the charity’s sustainable business hub on The Guardian website.
This required in-depth research and interviews with key stakeholders, including the CEO of Safaricom.
